Michelle Ouellette - Property Manager

Michelle Ouellette - Property Manager

Originally from Vancouver, Canada; Michelle arrived in New Zealand with her partner in 2013 on a working holiday adventure.  Since then New Zealand has become their home, making the move up to sunny Nelson as residents in March 2018 after living in Queenstown for 4 years.  Michelle has a strong belief in customer service excellence with extensive experience in varied roles such as Corporate Technical Trainer, Senior Community Living Counsellor, IT Office & Accounts Manager and most recently managing short-term Luxury Property Rentals and Asset Management. These positions have provided Michelle the skills, patience and resources required to handle any challenge or situation with grace and integrity.  In her free time, Michelle may be found paddling on a Waka Ama early on a Sunday morning; hiking; fishing; and of course, traveling the world. She has a serious passion for cooking, baking and cake decorating; and the Team often reap the benefits.


 
Kendall Robinson - Property Manager

Hi I’m Kendall Robinson
Now considered a Nelsonian I have been in the region for 36 years.  I originate from Southland and still have my southern charisma.
I have been in the corporate computer industry, the fitness and wellness industry and property development industry during my working career.  I have run my own business also.
I have a genuine interest in building and construction, I grew up with my parents renovating older homes and I too have a passion for this.  My husband and I have renovated our previous home.  Recently we have missed out on purchasing a 100 year old villa to renovate back to its original glory as a former stately home, so I need to find another project!
I have worked on two 5 million dollar Shopping Centre redevelopments while I lived in Australia and relished in the role as Project Coordinator.
I have an amazing blended family with my two handsome sons and my husband with his two gorgeous daughters.

Chris Varcoe - Manager

Chris has come from a background in Sports Management, having worked in both Nelson and Dunedin.  Chris is use to leading a team and helping them to perform at their best, with his great people skills.

A property investor himself, Chris has had his rental properties managed and understands the importance of gaining trust with his clients and ensuring good communication throughout the relationship. 

Chris is very much a team player and has become a firm favourite with the Haven Property Management Team as he regularly shouts cheese scones for morning tea - yum!
Nicola Symonds - Office Manager

Nicola Symonds - Office Manager

Nicola has a strong finance and office management background and a firm but fair approach to dealing with the odd tenant who might miss a rent payment. It is Nicola who is responsible for keeping the books balanced at Haven Property Management, landlords and creditors paid and the tenants notified of their property inspections and rent increases.

Nicola is a goal setter, and once she has set her mind to something she puts in the hard yards and gets it done, for example running a marathon along the Great Wall of China!
Georgia Rose - Office Administrator

Georgia Rose - Office Administrator

Georgia is the friendly face you meet when you walk into our office, or call on the phone. Georgia has a national business certificate in office administration and many years’ experience in the customer service industry. She is bright, bubbly and always has a kind word to say. Georgia is efficient and effective in this sometimes challenging role, and is always willing to listen and help to the best of her ability. This makes her a great  asset to the team here at Haven Property Management.
Paul Meeson - Property Manager

Paul Meeson - Property Manager

Paul has well over '20 years experience' in property management having worked for a leading property management company in London for many years. He joined the team at Haven Property Management in December 2002.

In his role as a property manager, Paul offers his clients a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, organisation and commitment to service, all delivered with a sense of humour - usually! 
Sally Moore - Property Manager

Sally Moore - Property Manager

Sally is a local legend in the Nelson property management arena, and has many many years of experience (we won't embarrass her with how many).
We are very fortunate at Haven Property Management to have her as part of the team. Sally brings with her a wealth of industry knowledge and her pocket rocket style of getting things sorted. Her no nonsense approach to dealing with any issues lets tenants know where they stand and what is expected.

When she is not working you will find Sally enjoying a brisk walk on the golf course.
Darryl Marshall - Principal

Darryl Marshall - Principal

Darryl has been involved in the local Real Estate Industry since 1978 and on the local REINZ Committee since 1986. During this time of service to the industry he was Nelson/Marlborough President for two terms of office.

Darryl is deeply committed to quality service and focused on maintaining high standards through continuing education and professional development of the staff at Haven Property Management.

He is convinced that the supportive team and stimulating office environment ensure that Haven Property Management is Nelson's leading property management company.
